Cacapon (pronounced ka-KAY-pon) Resort State Park is so named because it sits within the shadows of a wide expanse of Cacapon Mountain, the highest peak in the eastern portion of the state. 6000 acres of state park in the eastern panhandle. Hopefully this will draw some of our Guzzi friends from Maryland and Pennsylvania as well. Near Berkeley Springs.

Holly River State Park

Holly River is the second largest park in the West Virginia park system with a total of 8,101 acres. Limited cabins available, but great camping. It was our favorite last year.

Lodge rooms and campgrounds. This is becoming an annual venue for us too. Located centrally it a first class resort with something for everybody. Great two-lanes in the area. The resort park, the lake and especially the roads in the area are worth the trip.

Most of us will be staying the weekend at Boyer’s Station, a nice motel, good campground and restaurant just a few miles north of Cass. The after breakfast ride will go over Snowshoe Mountain and on to the Highlands Scenic Highway. In a word – superb!

Our 6th annual rally at Pipestem West Virginia. Fantastic roads in an area of indescribable natural beauty. Rivers, mountains, roads, fall foliage. This one has it all. On WV State Route 20 just past Bluestone Lake and the New River National Scenic Gorge. An hour and a half to the New River Bridge. If you haven’t been here, try to make it this year.
