2008 West Virginia Mountain Guzzi Rally

The weekend of October 3-4-5 the West Virginia Mountain Guzzi Rally will take place at the charming Pipestem State Resort Park at Pipestem, West Virginia. The park has two lodges, twenty-six cottages, two restaurants, a snack bar, a sports bar, two golf courses and numerous other activities. A 3600 ft. aerial tramway will take you down the Bluestone River Gorge to the Mountain Creek Lodge and restaurant. The gondola ride is highly recommended whether you dine or just make the trip. There are 82 campsites on a first come, first serve basis, so come early. The campground has heated bathhouses, a laundry and a camp store.

The West Virginia Mountain Guzzi Rally has come to be known for it's beautiful setting in the southern West Virginia mountains and most importantly for those uniquely satisfying twisty roads that will make your Moto Guzzi happy too. The fall foliage is just coming into it's glory at the higher elevations this first weekend in October, temperatures range in the 70s during the day and around 50 at night, the riding is superb, the food is the best you'll have at a rally - so come on and join us for a weekend you'll remember!

The breakfast this year will be at Kirk's Restaurant in Hinton at 9AM. Information on area rides is available at check in and at the breakfast. Pick one, head out and enjoy the roads and meet us back at the shelter for dinner at 6PM. Make sure you take time to have breakfast at the Pipestem Lodge before leaving on Sunday morning.

Registration Fee: $25 by September 15, $35 afterwards. Charge for campsite payable to Pipestem State Resort Park not included in the rally fee. Pre-registration is recommended to guarantee a campsite and dinners at the rally. Rally t-shirts and hats will be available in limited supply.
